CASE research considers the interplay between natural and built ecologies through the design of integrated material, energy, and information systems. CASE environmental research combines building science, system engineering, and integrated design which is applied to the development of building and urban systems to achieve transformative improvements in humanity’s impact on the planet.

The environmental education programs at CASE serve undergraduate through Ph.D. students, including:
