Kwé Neshai

Kwé Neshai graduated from CASE with a Master of Science in Built Ecologies.

Prior to CASE, Kwé’s pursuits in sustainability and ecology lead them to work with several labs at RPI, including The Center for Infrastructure Technology and the Environment (CITE), The Darrin Fresh Water Institute (DFWI) and The Global Water Lab. Kwé has also earned recognition in Nature Magazine for their ethnographic research exploring the applications of citizen science, which was presented at the 2019 Society for Social Studies of Science (4S) research conference.

At CASE, Kwé’s research explored food insecurity as an urban planning issue, seeking novel design solutions to improve food distribution channels and extend the utility of food security initiatives in New York City. Specifically, Kwé prototyped a tool that uses open source data and GIS mapping to improve the accessibility of existing and underutilized nutrition resources in food insecure communities.
