CASE student Will Pepi wins First Prize at Student Perfect Pitch

Congratulations to Will Pepi for his victory at this year’s virtual IADay’s Student Perfect Pitch!

The Student Perfect Pitch is a one slide/90-second elevator-pitch style presentation, created at LESA and traditionally held during the annual Industry-Academia Days each spring, here revived as a way to showcase LESA and CASE’s exceptional students’ research during the constraints of the pandemic.

Will shared his recent research titled “BIOM: Bryoremediation integrated oxygen module”, which seeks to enable a ‘living desktop air filter’ that uses living moss to provide cleaner, highly oxygenated air to provide better indoor air quality to occupants.
